Therapy is truly such an individual experience. For me, it’s all about the relationship. I practice from the following lenses: humanistic, existential, attachment-based, and feminist…but really all that means is that instead of looking at symptoms, I focus on you as a whole person. I explore how relationships and society impact your experience. I operate from the understanding that you are inherently good and worthy, and I view therapy as a way to help you achieve whatever goals will make your life better.

DBT is a structured (yet flexible) therapy that is especially useful if you are often emotionally dysregulated or have suicidal ideation. Although “behavior” is in the name, I am NOT a behavioral therapist. I practice DBT through a neurodiversity-affirming and self-compassionate lens. The focus is on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.

I am passionate about psychedelics as a tool for personal healing and liberation and love working with folx who are curious about them. Integration is all about incorporating key insights and awareness gained in the psychedelic experience into your life.
Please note that I do not prescribe medication. Take a look at my resources page if you want to learn more.

I am not interested in gate-keeping. It would be a privilege to help you achieve your goals for an affirmed, congruent existence.
rebeltesting
Exploring your struggles and giving them a name can be tremendously empowering. Apart from therapy, another highly effective tool is a psychological evaluation, which takes about six weeks. Testing might be helpful if you (or your therapist) wants to understand why current treatment has been ineffective, clarify diagnoses, gain more insight into your functioning, or get individualized treatment recommendations.
-
A meeting or two with me to better understand what question(s) you would like answered through the testing process.
-
A session or two to work through whichever tests are appropriate for your particular questions. Keep in mind, these sessions can last up to five hours!
-
After testing is complete, I take everything from our conversations, results from the tests, plus any information your friends or family have shared, and write up a report answering the questions we identified in our first session together.
-
We will meet one last time to review the findings and walk through the full report together.
rebel
consulting
I’ve spent a lot of time researching and working with others around specific topics including neurodivergence, psychedelics and fat liberation. I am beyond excited to connect with others who share my passion for building a world in which all humans feel safe and comfortable being exactly who they are. Whether you’re a fellow sole practitioner or are part of a larger team or organization, I’d love to hear from you.
rebel
gatherings
Although it sometimes feels like it, we’re not alone. Rebel Gatherings are an opportunity to come together and rejoice in all the ways our stories are intertwined. Everyone is welcome—you don’t need to be a client to participate—so feel free to bring a friend!

therapy can be such a powerful, scary, liberating, and healing experience. here are some things you can expect while we work together:
Me
I am a laid-back, knowledgeable, compassionate, direct, socially-oriented, authentic, creative, weird human. I have purple hair and you’ll find me wearing comfy clothes and no shoes.
My Office
Dimly lit, colorful/eclectic decorations, comfy couches, pillows, and blankets. Fidgets to play with. It’s important to me that I accommodate your needs so you can feel comfortable and safe. Please never hesitate to ask if you need something!
The Process
it looks different with every client, but a couple things are constant. We will have an intake session where we go over the paperwork you fill out prior to our first meeting. from there, we start the process of getting to know each other. i will ask questions to help me develop a better understanding about the important things going on in your life. if we each decide we are a good fit for one other, then the next session will involve some goal-setting and deepening our exploration. every 90 days (sometimes sooner), i will check in on our goals to ensure we are on track. the rest, well, that’s the magic of therapy!
Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions you would like answered.

My fee for an initial intake is $250 (90 minute session) and $200 per individual therapy session (53-minute therapy session). i know that’s a weird number…blame insurance. the other seven minutes i spend running to the bathroom, grabbing a bite, and writing some notes so that I can be on time for my next client.

i'm not going to lie, the process is long and time consuming, which equals expensive. testing can take between 10-15 hours (including administration, scoring, interpretation, and report writing) and cost between $1,500-$3,000. i do everything i can to keep that cost down (ask me about payment plans through CareCredit). here is a quick breakdown of the fees associated with testing- keep in mind that depending on lots of individual factors, this number will look different (e.g. insurance, deductibles, complexity of case, testing question, etc.):
Initial Consultation: 90791- 90 minutes-$250
First Hour Psychological/Neuropsychological Testing Evaluation Services (includes integration of patient data, interpretation of standardized test results and clinical data, clinical decision making, treatment planning and report and interactive feedback to the patient): 96130/96132-60 minutes-$250
Addt'l Hours Psychological/Neuropsychological Testing Evaluation Services (includes integration of patient data, interpretation of standardized test results and clinical data, clinical decision making, treatment planning and report and interactive feedback to the patient): 96131/96133-60 minutes-$250

Addt'l 30 Minutes of Psychological/Neuropsychological Testing (includes test administration/scoring): 96137/96139-30 minutes-$125
